The Arbitration Court at the DIHK (SGH) is expanding its qualification program and, in cooperation with the IHK Academy Munich and Upper Bavaria, will launch an eight-day certificate course on arbitration for the first time in autumn 2026.
The course is aimed at lawyers and experienced practitioners who wish to conduct, support or manage arbitration proceedings from a corporate perspective in the future.
This particularly addresses
– angehende und tätige Schiedsrichterinnen und Schiedsrichter,
– Rechtsanwältinnen und Rechtsanwälte als Parteivertreter,
– Inhousejuristinnen und Inhousejuristen, die Schiedsverfahren in Unternehmen verantworten oder begleiten, sowie
– Sachverständige mit technischer oder wirtschaftlicher Expertise, die bei technisch geprägten Streitigkeiten als beisitzende Schiedsrichter in Betracht kommen.
The course provides a compact and practical introduction to the legal foundations of arbitration, strategic aspects of procedural management, and communication skills for the professional handling of complex commercial and technical disputes.
Upon successful completion of the course and passing the practical test, participants receive an IHK certificate, which confirms their specialized qualification in the field of arbitration. The certificate course thus makes a lasting contribution to the professionalization of arbitration proceedings and to strengthening arbitration expertise in companies and law firms.
